The Young Peace Ambassadors (YPA) is a dynamic and innovative entity committed to enhancing lives and creating a sustainable future through the promotion of peace and security.
The YPA started with a group of enthusiastic young people drawn from Karaga District of the Northern Region of Ghana and its environs
Since its inception, the YPA has revitalized its operations and repositioned itself as a key humanitarian actor in promoting peace and security in areas it operates through well thought out activities and programs with support from its key partners.
There is substantial assurance and potentials for YPA to become one of the stopping points for relevant, impactful and sustainable humanitarian programming, policy and advocacy in Peace and Security within the Northern Region of Ghana.
Our mission is to build sustainable peace among people of different backgrounds, care for the vulnerable, and empower women and young people to become economically independent.
The vision of YPA is to create equal space for all through sustainable peace where the rights of young people, minority groups, women, and vulnerable groups are respected.
